About YOOKI

YOOKI is the first brand of Shatranj Kitchen Pvt. Ltd. which focusses on multi cuisine food specialising in Tandoor, Indian & Indio-Chinese cuisines. The brand YOOKI is the name of our daughter and we believe this brand is like a small child who needs all the nurturing and love to grow into a young and beautiful being. The word YOOKI is borrowed from Japanese language which signifies ‘purity as white as snow’. The food cooked at YOOKI carries all the aroma of what Shatranj Kitchen is founded on.

Shatranj Kitchen is conceptualised and founded by a Bengali couple who have a penchant for good food and have travelled extensively to learn the finer aspects of authentic cooking. Shatranj Kitchen’s first multi-cuisine brand, Yooki, is an attempt to find a fine balance between passion and commercialization. We wish to bust the myth that commercial food chains fail to provide real authentic dishes.

TASTE – AROMA – STORY
We believe that food served to our guests should not only taste good but also have the visual delight. In doing so we lay special emphasis on packaging and garnishing of the food served to our guests. Our short menu revolves around few signature dishes that retain the aesthetics and authenticity.

Lastly, we believe our food should remain warm when it reaches our guests’ doorsteps. Our utmost endeavour is to serve well packaged warm food and the constant strive to see guests with smiles on their faces.
